Sewing day

Today was a sewing day, in which we yelled at The Tudors nearly as much as we sewed. I brought my scarletwork because it's easier to bring to someone else's house than a farthingale and boning that still needs to be soaked.

My embroidery skillz aren't up to much, but as I'm starting on the lower sleeve puffs, they don't have to be perfect. I'll try to take a little more care when I get to the cuffs. (Eventually. Someday.) Each sleeve has two puffs, plus the puffs at the bottom of the sleeve, which will need longer sections of scarletwork.

No, I'm not counting it. I'm not that much of a masochist.

And then I came home, put the reed in the sink for a couple of hours, and sewed the last casing onto the farthingale. Took the reed out, thought about starting to sew it in the casings, and...mmm, still thinking about it. Thinking very hard.
