(no subject)

Hmm, I've sort of fallen out of regular sewing updates, haven't I? Sorry. I've been in a twitchy, restless sort of mood the past week or so (stay tuned for more on that, perhaps), which isn't conducive to sewing!

I did manage to mend my flannel drawers today (they've had a rip in them since Gettysburg, last November)...that's something, right?? The half-finished projects bin is really in an alarming state, so that's one thing out of it. Not that that helped with the "alarming" bit.

And I got my shoes for the chemise gown...they're a darker blue than they looked online, so I do want to paint them eventually! That probably won't happen for the first wearing, but eventually. I also got a pair of heels I didn't really need from the same seller - but they were all of $3.25, so I really couldn't pass them up! Looked beige in the picture, but I was delighted to open the package up yesterday, and find they're pink! Not in bad shape, either - the heels have some nicks, but for the price? I'm fine with that. (Plus I always manage to put nicks in the heels of shoes anyway!)

So, yes, a nice pick-me-up, which I needed!
