I wear funny clothes, part 3

Hmm, got to stop wearing sweatpants! (I don't go out in public in said horrible ratty sweatpants, but still.) Back to the funny clothes!

Today we've got this.

That look on my face in that second picture...bwahahaha. Ahem.
Shirt and Trousers: thrift store. The same one. It's my pet thrift store.
Boots: Oh yeah, the boots are from there too.
Earrings: made by a friend of mine for my high school graduation present. I still wear them. :)
Jacket: Ross

I would just like to take this moment to state how much I love those boots: A lot. They're comfy, leather, ankle length beasts that make a very satisfying clomping sound when I stomp. I really need to get something put on the bottom though, because they're pretty slick in the wet. End the Ode to the Boots.

Inspiration for today is more Fifties than Sixties, I guess.

The girl not wearing the skirt, obviously. I was looking for a bit of Ted inspiration as well...but realized I have nothing in my closet that can even pretend to that. So...fine. (Although...I guess it could be a nod to the styles that developed into the Rockers [i.e. The Wild One influence] than the fancier, more Edwardian styles. Okay, now I'm babbling again. Part of my thesis mentioned Teddy boys, so I can natter on about it endlessly! And how do I have no pictures of Ted style on my computer? I PUT THEM IN MY THESIS, WHERE DID THEY GO??)

The outfit is great--I just didn't know you wore pants. :)

Love the jeans! And the shoes are cool as well! I can see the Ted influence. Love it! :D
