CADD quashed -- for the time being

I did manage to talk myself down from the whole SILK TAFFETA OMG, which is a good thing, because 1/ didn't get that particular job, and 2/ I don't. need. more. fabric. Plus I reminded myself that I do want a guitar eventually. Which is even more money than fabric, so...saving money, whaaaa?

Have been thinking about a way to get my 18thc fix...trust me, there's Stash fabric a-plenty for it. I'm just trying to concentrate on Black Diamonds at the moment! (Quilt squares don't even deserve a mention. They're too boring.) I really do have the attention span of a grape, don't I?

Did you ever finish that blue and orange dress?

Nope! I have to take the bodice all apart to fix it, and somehow working on an entirely new dress seems like less work. Somehow. Logic, I haz it.

A totally new dress does not, in theory, require the agony and headache of taking out stitch after tiny stitch and then redoing them which always causes inordinate anger at the dress which is clearly to blame for the mistake and not the seamstress. Therefore yes, a new dress is less work.

DUH.

Aha! That's exactly it! Makes perfect sense when you put it like that! Stupid dresses, misbehaving like that. XD
